Abstract
Abstrak Bahasa Indonesia Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran darah (jumlah eritrosit, jumlah leukosit, dan kadar hemoglobin) ayam petelur fase grower dengan kepadatan kandang yang berbeda dan mengetahui kepadatan kandang yang terbaik terhadap gambaran darah ayam petelur fase grower. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada April 2014 dengan menggunakan 210 ekor ayam petelur fase grower umur 7--10 Minggu di kandang ayam petelur Varia Agung Jaya dan Balai Veteriner Lampung. Perlakuan disusun dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), terdiri atas empat perlakuan dan lima ulangan. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan sidik ragam pada taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepadatan kandang 6, 9, 12, dan 15 ekor m-2 berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap gambaran darah (jumlah eritrosit 1,04 sampai 2,74 x 106 mm-3, jumlah leukosit 27,96 sampai 52,52 x 103 mm-3, dan kadar hemoglobin 6,40 sampai 8,20 g/dl). This research has been conducted in April 2014 using 210 grower laying hens 7--10 weeks in Varia Agung Jaya Farm and Balai Veteriner Lampung. The treatment is given based on completely randomized design (CRD), consisting of four treatments and five replications. The data was analyzed using analysis of variance on 5% significance level. The result of the research shows that the density of the cage 6,9,12, and 15 hens m-2 have not significant (P>0,05) on hematological profile (erythrocytes 1,04--2,74 x 106 mm-3; leukocytes 27,96--52,52 x 103 mm-3; and hemoglobin 6,40--8,20 g/dl).
