Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Tumbuhan Artocarpus kemando Miq. termasuk dalam genus Artocarpus dari famili Moraceae. Pada penelitian ini berfokus pada tahapan isolasi dan identifikasi senyawa flavonoid yang terkandung dalam fraksi semi polar kulit akar tumbuhan pudau (Artocarpus kemando Miq.) yang diperoleh dari Karang Anyar, Klaten, Penengahan, Lampung Selatan. Ekstraksi menggunakan metode maserasi dengan pelarut metanol. Isolasi senyawa dilakukan dengan metode kromatografi cair vakum dan kromatografi kolom, sedangkan struktur molekul senyawa tersebut diidentifikasi berdasarkan spektrum (UV-Vis dan IR). Senyawa hasil isolasi yang diperoleh berupa kristal berwarna kuning dengan titik leleh 248-251oC. Berdasarkan hasil analisis spektroskopi UV-Vis dan spektroskopi IR menunjukkan bahwa telah berhasil diisolasi suatu senyawa artonin M 8,8 mg dari fraksi semi polar kulit akar tumbuhan pudau (Artocarpus kemando Miq.). Uji bioaktivitas dari senyawa hasil isolasi dengan variasi konsentrasi 0,3; 0,4; 0,5 mg/disk adanya aktivitas antibakteri kuat terhadap bakteri Bacillus subtilis dan sedang terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli. Kata Kunci: Artocarpus kemando Miq., artonin M, Bacillus subtilis, flavonoid, Escherichia coli, Moraceae. abstract Artocarpus kemando Miq. is one of genus Artocarpus from Moraceae family. This study has concerned about isolation and identification of flavonoid compound from semi polar fraction root bark of pudau (Artocarpus kemando Miq.) which is obtained from Karang Anyar, Klaten, Penengahan, Lampung Selatan. Extraction method was using methanol. Compound isolation was using Chromatography method Liquid Vacuum Chromathography (VLC) and Column Chromatography, moreover characterization of molecular structure based on spectrum data of UV-Vis and Infrared. Isolated compound formed yellowish crystal with melting point 248-251oC. Based on spectroscopy data analysis (UV-Vis and IR) showed that the yield was artonin M compound (8.8 mg) from semi polar fraction root bark pudau (Artocarpus kemando Miq.). Bioactivity antibacterial assay with various concentration 0.3; 0.4; 0.5 mg/disk showed that there was bioactivity strong categorize antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis and mild antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli.
