Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di SD Negeri 1 Pahoman Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode demonstrasi terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling non probability sampling dengan jenis teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 37 orang. Purposive sampling adalah teknik penentu sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu, kelas yang terpilih sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan metode demonstrasi adalah kelas IV B karena jumlah peserta didik dengan nilai di bawah KKM (65) cukup banyak, yaitu mencapai 22 siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah one group pretest-posttest design yaitu penelitian ini hanya pada satu kelompok yang berfungsi sebagai kelompok kontrol (sebelum dikenalkan perlakuan ujinya) maupun kelompok eksperimen (setelah dikenalkan perlakuan ujinya). Hasil penelitian adalah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode demonstrasi terhadap hasil belajar IPS. Kata Kunci:hasil belajar, IPS Sekolah Dasar, metode demonstrasi. abstract Problems in this study is still low student learning outcomes in subjects IPS in SD Negeri 1 Pahoman Bandar Lampung. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of demonstration methods on the results of IPS students learning grade IV. The sample of this research using sampling technique non probability sampling with type of purposive sampling technique with number of students counted 37 people. Purposive sampling is a sample determination technique with certain consideration, the class chosen as experimental class that applied the demonstration method is class IV B because the number of students with value below KKM (65) is quite large, reaching 22 students. The design of this research is one group pretest-posttest design. This research is only one group that functioned as a control group (before the introduction of the test treatment) and experimental group (after introducing the test treatment). The result of research is there are difference of result of student learning using method of demonstration to learning result of IPS.
