Abstrak

ABSTRAK PRARANCANGAN PABRIK POTASSIUM CHLORATE DARI POTASSIUM CHLORIDE DENGAN KAPASITAS 30.000 TON/TAHUN Perancangan Reaktor Elektrolisis -201 (RE-201) leh Tauhid Ashadi Potassium Chlorate merupakan salah satu produk industri kimia yang digunakan sebagai bahan baku pembuatan korek api, peledak, dan pupuk. Potassium Chlorate dapat diproduksi dengan beberapa proses yaitu 1) Proses pembuatan KClO 3 daru KCl dengan menggunakan Reaktor Elektrolisis 2) pembuatan KClO 3 dari Cl dengan menggunakan Reaktor Bubble. Penyediaan kebutuhan utilitas pabrik berupa sistem pengolahan dan penyediaan air, sistem penyediaan steam, chilling water, dan sistem pembangkit tenaga listrik. Kapasitas produksi pabrik Potassium Chlorate direncanakan 30.000 ton/tahun dengan 330 hari kerja dalam 1 tahun. Lokasi pabrik direncanakan didirikan di daerah Bungah duku, Gersik Jawa Timur. Tenaga kerja yang dibutuhkan sebanyak 193 orang dengan bentuk badan usaha Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan struktur organisasi line and staff. Dari analisisekonomi diperoleh: Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) = Rp 307.949.734.228 Working Capital Investment (WCI) = Rp 53.806.010.640 Total Capital Investment (TCI) = Rp 361.755.744.868 Break Even Point (BEP) = 43,8657% Shut Down Point (SDP) = 23,43% Pay Out Time before taxes (POT) b = 2,196 Tahun Pay Out Time after taxes (POT) a = 3,519 Tahun Return onInvestment before taxes (ROI) b = 30% Return onInvestment after taxes (ROI) a = 24% Discounted cash flow (DCF) = 20,94% Berdasarkan beberapa paparan di atas, maka pendirian pabrik Potassium Chlorate ini layak untuk dikaji lebih lanjut, karena merupakan pabrik yang menguntungkan dari sisi ekonomi dan mempunyai prospek yang relatif cukup baik.
