Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Kehidupan remaja sepertinya tidak pernah terlepas dari persoalan perilaku penyimpangan sosial, terlebih terlebih remaja kota. Lebih mengejutkan lagi remaja berusaha untuk menampilkan seks appeal pada lawan jenis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal yang dilakukan oleh remaja laki-laki dan remaja perempuan dalam menampilkan seks appeal. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Interaksi Simbolik. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan para informan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang dilakukan remaja lakilaki untuk menampilkan seks appeal berdasarkan kelima informan remaja lakilaki, menggunakan verbal seperti memuji, mengajak pergi, menanyakan rasa sayang. dan nonverbal seperti melihat tubuh, bertiduran, dan menyandarkan pala. Sedangkan pada remaja perempuan respon jawaban dan pembuktian rasa sayang yang dilakukan seperti mengelus kepala, mencubit pipi, meminum minuman, dan mimik wajah seperti senyuman guna untuk merespon remaja laki-laki pada saat menampilkan seks appeal. Kata kunci : Seks Appeal, Interaksi simbolik, Remaja. ABSTRACT Sexual life in tenagers’ life is so inevitable, especially tenagers in town. Moreover, these theenagers also try to show their sexual appeal to their spouses. The purpose of this reseach is to find how verbal and non-verbal communication which was conducted by the male and female teenagers in order to show their sexual appeal. This research used interactionism symbolics as the theory. It used qualitative approach with data obtaining technic through deep interview towards the informants. The result of this research showed that the communication which was conducted by the male teenagers based on five informants, using verbal communication in order such as praising, inviting female teenagers to go out, asking for affection, and the nonverbal communication such as looking at their body, lying down, and leaning their heads. Meanwhile, the female teenagers explained that their answers were form of affections reflected through stroking their heads, pinching the cheeks, drinking, and showing certain facial expression like smiling in order to respond the male teenagers while they were showing their sexual appeal.
