Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi negeri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar dan status sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap minat melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi negeri siswa kelas XII IPS SMAN 01 Tanjung Raja Kabupaten Lampung Utara tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif verifikatif populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 124 siswa. Sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 95 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu probability sampling dengan proporsional simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dokumentasi, angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, terdapat pengaruh 1. Parsial motivasi belajar terhadap minat melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi negeri 2. Parsial status sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap minat melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi negeri 3. Simultan motivasi belajar dan status sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap minat melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi negeri. Kata kunci : minat melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi negeri, motivasi belajar, dan status sosial ekonomi orang tua. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low interest to continue study to state universities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning motivation and socioeconomic status of parents to the interest of continuing study to state university students class XII IPS SMAN 01 Tanjung Raja North Lampung District Lesson year 2017/2018. The method used in this study is descriptive verifikatif population in this study amounted to 124 students. Samples obtained by 95 students with sampling technique that is probability sampling with proportional simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used are documentation, questionnaires and interviews. The results showed, there is influence 1. Partial motivation to study interest in continuing studies to public universities 2. Partial socioeconomic status of parents of interest to continue studies to state universities 3. Simultaneous learning motivation and socioeconomic status of parents of interest continue studies to public universities.
