ABSTRAK PENGEMBANGAN BUKU TEKS TEMATIK BERBASIS BUDAYA DAN KARAKTER BANGSA UNTUK SISWA KELAS IV Oleh Listianawati Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk buku teks tematik berbasis budaya dan karakter bangsa pada subtema indahnya keragaman budaya negeriku, serta mengetahui tingkat efektivitas buku teks tematik. Pengembangan buku teks tematik ini menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan Borg & Gall yang melibatkan dua sekolah yaitu SDN 1 dan 2 Langkapura Kota Bandar Lampung. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi, tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa produk buku teks tematik berbasis budaya dan karakter bangsa dengan tingkat validitas berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik dan buku teks tematik berbasis budaya dan karakter bangsa efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar. Kata kunci: buku teks tematik, budaya, karakter bangsa. ABSTRACT THE DEVELOPMENT OF THEMATIC TEXT BOOK BASED ON NATION CULTURE AND CHARACTER FOR 4TH GRADER STUDENTS By Listianawati This research aims to develop a thematic textbook product based on nation culture and character with the subtheme of ‘beautiful cultural diversity of my country’, and to know the effectivity level of the thematic textbook. The development of this thematic textbook was using Borg & Gall's research and development model, which involve two schools, i.e. Public Elementary School 1 and 2 of Langkapura, Bandar Lampung City. Data were collected by observations, tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative techniques. The result of this research is the thematic textbook product based on nation culture and character with the validity level categorized as ‘very good’ and the thematic textbook based on nation culture and character was effective to improve learning outcomes. Keyword: thematic text book, culture, nation character.
