Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa model pembelajaran problem based learning berbasis higher order thinking skill pada pembelajaran tematik kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Merak Batin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan R&D dengan tujuh langkah Borg and Gall (1989). Populasi penelitian 60 peserta didik dan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik cluster random sampling sehingga sampel diambil sebanyak 44 peserta didik yang terdiri dari 9 peserta didik uji terbatas kelompok kecil, 15 peserta didik uji terbatas kelompok besar dan 20 peserta didik uji lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner (angket) dan tes. Selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif dan uji t-tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata N-Gain ternormalisasi 0,82 (tinggi), efisiensi diperoleh nilai rasio 1,03>1 (tinggi), kemenarikan 83% (menarik) dan terdapat rata-rata nilai posttest dan pretest yang signifikan yaitu 93>64 menunjukkan thit>ttabel yaitu 34,79>2,09 dengan taraf signifikan t0,05 berarti Pengembangan model pembelajaran PBL berbasis HOTS pada pembelajaran tematik kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Merak Batin merupakan produk yang efektif, efisien dan menarik dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran sehingga peserta didik dapat mencapai kompetensi dari tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Kata kunci: problem based learning, higher order thinking skill, tematik ABSTRACT This research aims to produce a product of problem based learning learning model based on higher order thinking skill on thematic learning of 4th grader at Public Elementary School 1 of Merak Batin. This research is an R&D development research with seven steps Borg and Gall (1989). The total of research population was 60 learners and the sampling technique used was cluster random sampling technique, so the total of sample taken is 44 learners which consist of 9 learners for small group limited trial, 15 learners for large group limited trial and 20 learners for field trial. Data collection techniques that used were questionnaires and tests. Furthermore, it was analyzed descriptively and tested with t-test. The research result shows that the average score of normalized N-Gain is 0,82 (high), the obtained efficiency value ratio is 1,03>1 (high), attractiveness 83% (attractive) and there are significant results of average scores of posttest and pretest namely 93>64 which shows that tcount>ttable with score of 34,79>2,09 with significant level of t0,05 means the development of problem based learning model based on higher order thinking skill on thematic learning of 4th grader at public elementary school 1 of merak batin is an effective product, efficient and interesting in supporting the learning process so that learners can achieve the competence of the goals set.
