Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Australia dan Indonesia merupakan dua negara bertetangga yang melakukan kerja sama di bidang ekonomi. Salah satu bentuk kerja sama ekonomi yang dilakukan adalah perundingan Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA) pada tahun 2012. Perundingan tersebut mengalami pemberhentian sementara sejak pertengahan tahun 2013- 2015. Di tahun 2013-2015, Australia-Indonesia mengalami ketegangan diplomatik serta hubungan ekonomi yang bersifat fluktuatif. Setelah mengalami puncak ketegangan diplomatik pada tahun 2015, Pemerintah Australia mengajak Pemerintah Indonesia untuk mengaktifkan kembali perundingan IACEPA pada tahun 2016. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk menganalisa kepentingan Australia dalam mengaktifkan kembali IA-CEPA pada tahun 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori liberalisme, konsep kepentingan nasional, dan konsep interdependensi ekonomi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaktifan kembali IACEPA menjadi strategi Australia untuk normalisasi hubungan dengan Indonesia setalah terjadi fluktuasi konflik di tahun 2013-2015. Australia berhasil mewujudkan kepentingan ekonomi setelah mengaktifkan IACEPA 2016. Kepentingan ekonomi Australia adalah mencapai surplus perdagangan dengan meningkatnya nilai ekspor, memperoleh produk dan jasa impor unggul dengan biaya murah, serta meningkatkan investasi yang berujung pada akuisisi hak pengelolaan perusahaan tambang di Indonesia. Kata Kunci: IACEPA, Australia, Liberalisme, Kepentingan Nasional, Interdependensi Ekonomi ABSTRACT Australia and Indonesia are two neighboring countries that cooperate in the economic field. One of the forms of economic co-operation is the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA) in 2012. The talks have been dismissed in mid-2013- 2015. In 2013-2015, Australia-Indonesia experiences diplomatic tensions as well as relations a fluctuating economy. After experiencing the peak of diplomatic tension in 2015, the Government of Australia invited the Government of Indonesia to reactivate IACEPA negotiations in 2016. This study attempts to analyze Australia's interest in reactivating IA-CEPA in 2016. This study uses liberalism theory, the concept of national interest and the concept of economic interdependence. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that the reactivation of IACEPA into an Australian strategy for normalizing relations with Indonesia after conflict fluctuation in 2013-2015 and strengthening the ties of economic interdependence with Indonesia. Australia has succeeded in realizing economic interests after activating IACEPA 2016. The economic interests are such as achieving a trade surplus which is indicated by high export value, obtaining superior imported products and services at low cost, and increasing investment which resulted in the acquisition of Indonesian mining company's rights.
