Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Isu kebangkitan PKI mencuat sejak Pilpres 2014 dan menjadi topik pemberitaan yang populer di media massa nasional pada media 2016-2017, terkait dengan sejumlah peristiwa yang terjadi menjelang Pilkada DKI di tahun 2017. Isu ini tidak terbantahkan lagi, memiliki kaitan dengan situasi politik di Indonesia dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembingkaian berita tentang isu kebangkitan PKI yang dimuat oleh salah satu media besar di Indonesia, yaitu Tempo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis framing dari Gamson dan Lasch. Objek penelitian ini adalah berita tentang kebangkitan PKI di Majalah Tempo edisi 16-22 Mei 2016 dan edisi 25 September-1 Oktober. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Majalah Tempo membingkai isu tersebut dengan menunjukan kesan bahwa kebangkitan PKI bukanlah suatu ancaman yang nyata. Dalam konteks ideologi media, framing yang dilakukan Majalah Tempo dalam memberitakan isu kebangkitan PKI tersebut menggunakan ideologi media soft. Kata kunci: Framing Gamson & Lasch, Majalah Tempo, Ideologi Media, Isu Kebangkitan PKI abstract The issue of the PKI was emerged since the presidential election on 2014 and became a popular topics in national mass media since 2016 until 2017. It is related to a number of events or incident that occurred before the DKI elections in 2017. This issue is undeniable, has a connected to the political situation in Indonesia recent years. This study aims to determine framing the news about the issue of the ressurection of PKI which was published by one of the major media, namely Tempo. This study uses a qualitative with the method is framing analysis from gamson and lasch. The object of this research is the news about the ressurection of PKI in Tempo Magazine edition 16 until 22 May 2016, and edition September 25 to October 1, 2017. The results of this study indicate that Tempo Magazine framed the issue by showing the impression that the ressurection of the PKI was not a real threat. In the context of media ideology, the framing conducted by Tempo Magazine in reporting the issue ressurection of PKI by used soft media ideology.
