Abstract
Postpartum of family planning program is government program that has been established to help reduce maternal mortality and control the growing of population. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Family Planning Program In Postpartum Contraceptive Use In Bandar Lampung and to analyze the supporting factors and inhibiting factors. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, in which the main instrument in this study is the researcher's own. From the results of research in the field found that the implementation of family planning programs in the Postpartum contraceptive use in the city of Bandar Lampung is not maximized. As shown that there are still many people who do not have knowledge about the program so that people are reluctant to use it. Judging from the executing agency, the program still needs more officers as well as competent in their fields. The state of the local economy and the city is still low cultural influences that many children are still a lot of luck goes inhibit the implementation of this program. And the condition of society which is difficult to accept even understand the importance of reproductive health and family welfare. The recommendations can be given is the Family Planning Board and Women's Empowerment needs to provide training to the Human Resources associated with postpartum family planning programs and disseminate on a large scale and improved installation tool procurement service activities Family Planning Postpartum free to the public on a regular basis poor.
