Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan PDRB dan kemiskinan di Kawasan Barat Indonesia (KBI); pengaruh pendapatan asli daerah, tenaga kerja dan kemiskinan terhadap PDRB di KBI; dan pengaruh pengangguran, kepadatan penduduk, dan PDRB terhadap kemiskinan di KBI. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dan analisis regresi data panel yang menggunakan model panel data dari tahun 2011 - 2017 pada 17 provinsi di KBI. Analisis data menggunakan model persamaan simultan dengan metode Two-Stage Least Squares (TSLS). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari analisis regresi data panel menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara PDRB dan kemiskinan di KBI; variabel bebas pendapatan asli daerah, tenaga kerja, dan kemiskinan berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap PDRB di KBI; variabel bebas pengangguran, kepadatan penduduk, dan PDRB berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap kemiskinan di KBI. Kata kunci : Kemiskinan, Kepadatan Penduduk, PDRB, Pendapatan Asli Daerah, Pengangguran, Persamaan Simultan, Tenaga Kerja, Two-Stage Least Squares. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between GRDP and poverty in Western Region of Indonesia (KBI); the effect of regional income, labor and poverty on GDRP in KBI; and the effect of unemployment, population density, and GDRP on poverty in KBI. This study uses secondary data and panel data regression analysis using panel data model from 2011 – 2017 at 17 provinces in the Western Region of Indonesia. Data analysis using simultaneous equation model with the Two-Stage Least Squares (TSLS) method. The results of this study indicate that the panel data regression analysis shows that there is a relationship between GDRP and poverty in KBI; (2) the independent variable of regional original income, labor, and poverty have influence and significant effect on GDRP in KBI; (3) the unemployment-free variable, population density, and GDRP have influence and significant effect on poverty in KBI.
