Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui upaya OPCW dalam merespon penggunaan senjata kimia di Suriah tahun 2013-2016 dengan menggunakan kerangka analitis organisasi internasional dan konflik bersenjata noninternasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis dan sumber data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari situs resmi OPCW, PBB, Military Balance, jurnal internasional dan lain-lain. Sementara, teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan studi pustaka. Lalu, teknik analisis data melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian, dan verifikasi. Adapun penelitian berfokus pada upaya OPCW dalam merespon penggunaan senjata kimia di Suriah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, upaya yang telah dilakukan oleh OPCW dalam konflik bersenjata di Suriah sudah melakukan tahapan perlucutan senjata global yang termuat dalam CWC yakni membentuk timFact- Finding Mission, OPCW-UN Joint Investigative Mission, OPCW-UN Joint Mission, deklarasi, dan penghancuran. Kelima tahapan tersebut telah dilaksanakan oleh OPCW meskipun belum mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal sebab masih adanya penggunaan senjata kimia lanjutan pasca tahap pertama penghancuran senjata kimia. Kata Kunci: Penggunaan senjata kimia, perlucutan senjata kimia, OPCW, Suriah. The purpose of this study is to determine the efforts of the OPCW in responding to the use of chemical weapons in Syria in 2013-2016 using the analytical framework of international organizations and non-international armed conflicts. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method in which the type and the source of data used is secondary data which was obtained from the official website of OPCW, UN, Military Balance, international journals and others. Meanwhile, the data collection technique of this study uses literature. Then, the technique of analyzing data is through the stages of data reduction, presentation, and verification. The research focuses on OPCW's efforts in responding to the use of chemical weapons in Syria. Based on the results of the study, the efforts made by OPCW in armed conflict in Syria have carried out the stages of global disarmament contained in the CWC, which is forming a Fact-Finding Mission, Joint Investigative Mission, OPCW-UN Joint Mission, declaration and destruction. These stages have been carried out by OPCW even though they have not yet obtained maximum results because there is still continued use of chemical weapons after the first phase of the destruction of chemical weapons.
