Abstract
The purpose of the study is to examine the effect of Fee Based Income and Intellectual Capital on Profitability at Conventional Banking Companies in Indonesia. This research conducted using purposive sampling or based on certain criteria which amounted to 621 conventional banking companies. The analytical tool that researchers use is quantitative methods with the Multiple Linear Regression model with data processing using SPSS 23. The results of this study indicate that Fee Based Income has no significant effect on bank profitability, this indicates that Fee Based Income on conventional banking in Indonesia is low and not comparable to interest income which is a major component in banking business activities. In other Intellectual Capital shows that the results have a significant effect on profitability, this indicates that the utilization of physical capital in the form of information technology-based assets and human resources that are optimized and used efficiently will increase profitability.
