Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Transmigrasi masyarakat Bali ke Lampung menyebabkan adaptasi budaya. Adaptasi ini menyebabkan pergeseran budaya akibat penyesuaian dengan budaya baru. Kesenian Joged Bumbung Mertasari merupakan salah satu kesenian Bali yang di bawa ke Lampung Tengah. Kesenian ini mengalami pergeseran pada beberapa unsur seni akibat adaptasi budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi masyarakat Bali terhadap kesenian Joged Bumbung Mertasari di Desa Merapi Kecamatan Seputih Mataram Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mewarnai persepsi masyarakat Bali terhadap Joged Bumbung Mertasari dan mengetahui bagaimana model persepsi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori persepsi dan difusi kebudayaan. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat Bali terhadap Joged Bumbung Mertasari di Desa Merapi Kecamatan seputih Mataram Kabupaten Lampung Tengah berbeda-beda yaitu persepsi positif dan persepsi negatif. Persepsi ini terbentuk karena aspek sosial budaya seperti gender, status sosial, pendidikan terakhir dan faktor fungsional yang berupa minat atau ketertarikan terhadap kesenian Joged Bumbung yang berbeda. Kata Kunci : Bali, Joged Bumbung, kesenian, persepsi, tarian. The transmigration of the Balinese to Lampung caused cultural adaptation. This adaptation caused cultural frictional as a consequence of new culture adjustment. Bumbung Mertasari Dance Art is one of Balinese Art that had been brought to Middle Lampung. This art has frictions in some of its art’s subtances caused by cultural adaptation.This research aims to understand how the Balinese perceptive on Mertasari Bumbung Dance Art in Merapi Village, Seputih Mataram Sub-District, Middle Lampung Regency. Beside, the other aim of this research is to look at the background factors that impress the Balinese perceptions on Mertasari Bumbung Dance Art and how the model of the perceptions is. This research used the Theory of Perception and Cultural Diffusion. The research method used in this research was descriptive qualitative method. The result of this research found that the Balinese in Merapi Village, Seputih Mataram Sub-District, Middle Lampung Regency have different perceptions on Mertasari Bumbung Dance Art, such as positive and negative perceptions. These perceptions formed because of culture and social aspects such as genders, social statuses, latest education level, and functional factors. The functional factors are their different interests in Mertasari Bumbung Dance Art. Keywords : Arts, Balinese, dance, Joged Bumbung, perception
