Background: Cigarettes are defined as the result of processed tobacco forms produced from the Nicotiana tabacum plants. Electric cigarett is a cigarettes that uses a medium to provide nicotine needed by smokers without direct burning of tobacco leaves or other derivatives of tobacco that are harmful as in conventional cigarettes. Objective: To determine the effect of electric cigarette smoke exposure compared to conventional cigarette smoke exposure on pulmonary histopathological features in male mice (Mus Musculus). Method: This research is an experimental study with a randomized controlled design method, and research design used post test-only control group. This study was conducted using 21 male mice aged 8-12 weeks and divided into 3 experimental groups. Results: The results of damage scoring in the control group 17.57 group P1 36.71 group P2 39.29 and results of the HOC post test showed significant results of p <0.05 in group K against the group P1 and P2 while in the comparison group P1 compared to group P2 obtained results >0.05 and it can be concluded that it was not significant between the two comparisons of the two the group. Conclusion: There is no effect of giving exposure to electric cigarette smoke compared conventional cigarette smoke on lung histopathological features of male mice (mus musculus). Keyword: conventional cigarette, electric cigarette, lung Latar Belakang: Rokok adalah sebuah hasil olahan dari produk tembakau yang terbungkus dihasilkan dari tanaman Nicotiana tabacum. Rokok elektrik merupakan suatu jenis rokok yang menggunakan suatu media untuk memberikan nikotin yang diperlukan oleh perokok tanpa pembakaran langsung daun tembakau atau derivate lain dari tembakau yang merugikan sebagaimana dalam rokok konvensional. Tujuan: Mengetahui adanya pengaruh paparan asap rokok elektrik dibandingkan paparan asap rokok konvensional terhadap gambaran histopatologi paru pada mencit jantan (Mus Musculus). Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ekperimental dengan metode rancangan acak terkontrol, dan desain penelitian menggunakan post test-only control group. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan 21 ekor mencit jantan berumur 8-12 minggu dan dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok percobaan. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan nilai rata-rata skoring kerusakan pada kelompok kontrol 17,57 kelompok P1 36,71 kelompok P2 39,29 dan pada uji post hoc didapatkan hasil bermakna nilai p <0,05 pada kelompok K terhadap kelompok P1 dan P2 sedangkan pada perbandingan kelompok P1 dibandingkan dengan kelompok P2 didapat kan hasil >0,05 dan di dapat disimpulkan tidak bermakna antara kedua perbandingan dari kedua kelompok tersebut. Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat pengaruh pemberian paparan asap rokok elektrik di bandingkan asap rokok konvensional terhadap gambaran histopatologi paru mencit jantan (mus musculus).
