Abstract
ABSTRAK PENGARUH PEMANFAATAN PERPUSTAKAAN SEKOLAH DAN MINAT BACA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR GEOGRAFI SISWA KELAS X MAN 1 (MODEL) BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/ 2014 Oleh YESI ELVIYANI Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah dan minat baca terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas X MAN 1 (Model) Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2013/ 2014. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Survai. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X MAN 1 (Model) Bandar Lampung yang berjumlah 444 siswa, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 210 siswa yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik proportionate random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi, sedangkan untuk teknik analisis datanya menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian diperoleh ada pengaruh pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah dan minat baca secara bersama terhadap hasil belajar, ada pengaruh pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah terhadap hasil belajar dan ada pengaruh minat baca terhadap hasil belajar. Pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah dan minat baca yang rendah, menyebabkan hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa pun rendah. Kata kunci: pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah, minat baca, hasil belajar ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF THE UTILIZATION OF SCHOOL LIBRARY AND READING INTEREST TOWARD LEARNING OUTCOMES OF GEOGRAPHY SUBJECT AT THE FIRST GRADE OF MAN 1 (MODEL) BANDAR LAMPUNG ACADEMIC YEAR 2013/2014 By YESI ELVIYANI This research was intended to know the effect of the utilization of school library and reading interest toward learning outcomes of geography subject at the first grade of MAN 1 (Model) Bandar Lampung academic year 2013/2014. The research used survey design. The population of this research were all first grades of MAN 1 (Model) Bandar Lampung, that was 444 students. The sample were 210 students taken by using proportionate random sampling. The data were collected through questionnaire and documentation, and analyzed through simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results showed the effect of the utilization of school library and reading interest toward learning outcomes, the effect of the utilization of school library toward learning outcomes, and the effect of reading interest toward learning outcomes. The low utilization of school library and reading interest made the student learning outcomes were also low. Keyword: the utilization of school library, reading interest, learning outcome
