Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Latar Belakang: Gagal ginjal ditandai dengan meningkatnya kadar ureum dan kreatinin dalam darah. Gagal ginjal imbas obat merupakan salah satu penyebab tersering dari terjadinya kerusakan ginjal. Buah adas memilki kandungan antioksidan yang berfungsi sebagai nefroprotektor yang melindungi dari kerusakan ginjal akibat radikal bebas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemberian dosis ekstrak etanol buah adas terhadap kadar ureum dan kreatinin pada tikus putih yang diinduksi parasetamol. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan metode penelitian post-test only control group design menggunakkan 30 tikus putih galur Sprague dawley yang dibagi dalam 5 kelompok yaitu kelompok K1 diberikan pakan standar, kelompok K2 yang diinduksi parasetamol dosis 750mg/kgBB selama 3 dari 10 hari. Pada kelompok perlakuan, tikus diinduksi parasetamol 750mg/kgBB dan diberi ekstrak etanol buah adas setiap hari dalam 10 hari dengan dosis 100mg/kgBB (P1), 200mg/kgBB (P2) dan 400mg/kgBB (P3). Hasil: analisis one way ANOVA didapatkan p<0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara kadar urea dan kreatinin antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan dengan berbagai dosis ekstrak etanol buah adas. Simpulan: Terdapat perbedaan pemberian dosis ekstrak etanol buah adas (Foeniculum vulgare) terhadap kadar kreatinin namun tidak terdapat perbedan pemberian dosis ekstrak etanol buah adas terhadap kadar ureum tikus putih jantan (Rattus novergicus) galur Sprague dawley yang diinduksi parasetamol. Kata Kunci: Adas, Flavonoid, Nefroprotektor Background: Kidney failure is characterized by the rise of urea and creatinine levels in the blood. Drug induced kidney disease is one of the most common cause of kidney failure. Fennel contains antioxidant that is believed to act as nephroprotector against kidney damage due to free radicals. This study aims to determine the effect of different doses of fennel ethanol extract towards urea dan creatinine levels in paracetamol induced male albino rats Methods: This is an experimental study with a post-test only controlled group design. This study uses 30 male albino rats Sprague dawley strain that is divided into 5 groups. K1 was given standard food, K2 was induced by paracetamol with a dosage of 750mg/kg body weight for 3 of 10 days. P1, P2, and P3 were induced by paracetamol with a dosage of 750mg/kg body weight and were given fennel ethanol extracts every day for 10 days, the dose of fennel extracts are 100mg/kg body weight (P1), 200mg/kg body weight (P2), and 400mg/kg body weight (P3) Results: analysis using one way ANOVA shows p<0,05, therefore it could be concluded that there is meaningful differences of urea and creatinine levels in the control group and the treatment group with different dose of fennel ethanol extract. Conclusion: Different dose of fennel ethanol extract (Foeniculum vulgare) has effects towards creatinine levels but not in ureum level of paracetamol induced male albino rats (Rattus novergicus) Sprague dawley strain Keywords: Fennel seed, Flavonoid, Nephroprotector
