The objectives of this research were to find out: (1) the income of sugar cane farming, (2) household income of sugar cane farmers, (3) household welfare level, and (4) factors that affect the welfare level of sugar cane farmer households in Bungamayang Sub-District. The location was determined purposively, considering that Bungamayang Sub-District has been the center of sugar cane production in North Lampung Regency. The number of respondents in this research were 54 respondents and taken randomly. Data were collected from April to May 2019. The analytical method used for the first and second objectives was farm analysis, the third objective used Sajogyo welfare level analysis, and the fourth objective used binary logit analysis. The study shows that: (1) average income of sugar cane farming is Rp23.161.313,80/hectare, (2) average household income is Rp44.295.593,33/year with the contribution of sugar cane farming income to household income is 57,52 percent, (3) based on the criteria of Sajogyo, sugar cane farmer households are included in the sufficient category, but based on the subjective well-being, sugar cane farmer households are included in high subjective welfare, (4) household income positively affects, while the number of family members negatively affects to welfare level of sugar cane farmer in Bungamayang Sub-District. Key words: income, sugar cane farming, welfare level Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) pendapatan usahatani tebu rakyat, (2) pendapatan rumah tangga petani tebu rakyat, (3) tingkat kesejahteraan rumah tangga, dan (4) faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi tingkat kesejahteraan rumah tangga petani tebu rakyat di Kecamatan Bungamayang. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara sengaja (purposive) dengan pertimbangan kecamatan tersebut adalah daerah sentra produksi tebu di Kabupaten Lampung Utara. Jumlah responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak 54 orang yang diambil secara acak. Waktu pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan April hingga Mei 2019. Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk tujuan pertama dan kedua adalah analisis usahatani, tujuan ketiga menggunakan analisis tingkat kesejahteraan Sajogyo, dan tujuan keempat menggunakan analisis binary logit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) rata-rata pendapatan usahatani tebu rakyat sebesar Rp23.161.313,80/hektar, (2) rata-rata pendapatan rumah tangga sebesar Rp44.295.593,33/tahun dengan kontribusi pendapatan usahatani tebu rakyat terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga adalah sebesar 57,52 persen, (3) berdasarkan kriteria Sajogyo, rumah tangga petani tebu rakyat termasuk dalam kategori cukup, namun berdasarkan kesejahteraan subjektif, rumah tangga petani tebu rakyat termasuk dalam kategori kesejahteraan tinggi, (4) pendapatan rumah tangga berpengaruh secara positif, sedangkan jumlah anggota keluarga berpengaruh secara negatif terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan rumah tangga petani tebu rakyat di Kecamatan Bungamayang.
