Abstract

Masalah penelitian rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Balai Murni Jaya. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan penerapan model preview, question, read, reflect, recite, review (PQ4R) terhadap hasil belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 45 orang peserta didik. Sampel penelitian ditentukan menggunakan sampling purposive dengan jumlah 24 orang peserta didik. Setelah melalui teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik non tes dan tes serta teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik independet sampel t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan model preview, question, read, reflect, recite, review (PQ4R) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik 0,58 dengan kategori sedang dan thitung 2,177 > ttabel 2,021 (dengan α = 0,05). Kata kunci: hasil belajar, model PQ4R The research problem is the low learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 1 in Balai Murni Jaya. The purpose of the study was to find out the positive and significant effects of the application of the preview, question, read, reflect, recite, review (PQ4R) models on learning outcomes. This type of research is experimental research. The research design used was non-equivalent control group design. The study population amounted to 45 students. The study sample was determined using purposive sampling with a total of 24 students. After going through data collection techniques in the form of non-test techniques and tests as well as data analysis techniques using statistical tests independent of t-test samples. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence on the preview, question, read, reflect, recite, review (PQ4R) model on the learning outcomes of 0.58 students with the moderate category and tcount 2.177> t table 2.021 (with α = 0.05).
