Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar matematika kelas V SD Negeri se-Gugus R.A Kartini Kecamatan Metro Timur. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan media sosial WhatsApp dengan hasil belajar matematika. Jenis penelitian yaitu ex-post facto korelasi. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik probability sampling yaitu proportionate stratified random sampling. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 205 orang peserta didik dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 69 orang peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, studi dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara penggunaan media sosial WhatsApp dengan hasil belajar matematika ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,59 dan kontribusi sebesar 34,81% berada pada taraf “cukup kuat”. Kata kunci : hasil belajar matematika, media sosial WhatsApp. The problem in this research was the low mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade Elementary School in the R.A Kartini Cluster Sub-District Metro Timur.The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of use of WhatsApp social media with mathematic learning outcomes. This type of research is ex-post facto correlation. Samplingin this study used a probability sampling technique, namely propotionat ely stratified random sampling. The study population was 205 students and the research sample was 69 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation study, and interview. Data analysis using product moment correlation. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between use of WhatsApp social media with mathematics learning outcomes indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.59 and a contribution of 34,81% at the "quite strong" level.
