Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Media Sosial, Lingkungan Sosial dan Status Ekonomi Orang Tua terhadap Prestasi Akademik. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan ex post facto dan survey. Sampel penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan IPS sebanyak 71 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, kuesioner/angket ,wawancara,dokumentasi dan Google form . Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : (1) Variabel Media Sosial berpengaruh terhadap Prestasi Akademik. (2) Variabel Lingkungan Sosial berpengaruh terhadap Prestasi Akademik. (3) Variabel Status Ekonomi Orang Tua berpengaruh terhadap Prestasi Akademik. (4) Variabel Media Sosial, Lingkungan Sosial, dan Status Ekonomi Keluarag berpengaruh terhadap Prestasi Akademik Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan IPS. Kata kunci : media sosial, lingkungan sosial, status ekonomi orang tua dan prestasi akademik. This study aims to determine the effect of social media, social environment and parental economic status on academic achievement. The method in this research is an ex post facto approach and a survey. The sample of this research was 71 students of the Social Studies Education Department. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, questionnaires / questionnaires, interviews, documentation and Google forms. The results showed that: (1) Social Media variables have an effect on Academic Achievement. (2) Social Environment Variables affect Academic Achievement. (3) Parents' Economic Status variable has an effect on Academic Achievement. (4) Social Media, Social Environment, and Family Economic Status variables affect the Academic Achievement of Students of the Social Studies Education Department. Keywords: social media, social environment, parents' economic status and academic achievement.
