Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
ABSTRAK Air bersih merupakan salah satu kebutuhan dasar manusia. Akan tetapi, yang menjadi permasalahan saat ini, terutama di kota-kota besar adalah kebutuhan air bersih seringkali tidak terpenuhi dengan baik dikarenakan sumber-sumber air bersih yang ada semakin berkurang. Airtanah merupakan salah satu sumber air bersih yang paling banyak dimanfaatkan oleh manusia untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih karena jumlahnya mencapai 30% dari total air tawar yang ada di bumi sehingga pemanfaatan airtanah merupakan salah satu cara yang paling efisien untuk memperoleh kebutuhan air bersih. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui peranan sumur bor dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dalam memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih bagi masyarakat Kampung Sukamanjur Kelurahan Bumi Kedamaian. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April – Mei 2014 yang bertempat di Kampung Sukamanjur Kelurahan Bumi Kedamaian Kecamatan Kedamaian Kota Bandar Lampung. Penelitia ini menggunakan metode survey dengan kuesioner sebagai alat utama untuk memperoleh data mengenai pemanfaatan airtanah melalui penggunaan sumur bor. Data yang telah diperoleh melalui survey kemudian diolah dengan metode tabulasi kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk table dan grafik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemenuhan air bersih dengan memanfaatkan airtanah melalui sumur bor lebih efisien dari segi biaya dan tenaga jika dibandingkan dengan pemanfaatan air sungai. Akan tetapi, jika diliat dari segi biaya maka pemanfaatan air sungai lebih efisien karena dalam pemanfaatannya masyarakat tidak perlu mengeluarkan biaya. However, which is the case today, especially in big cities is the need for clean water is often not met with either because the sources of water that is on the wane. Ground water is a source of fresh water is the most widely used by humans to meet the needs of fresh water because the number reached 30% of the total fresh water on the earth so that the use of groundwater is one of the most efficient ways to obtain fresh water needs. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of boreholes in improving efficiency in meeting the needs of fresh water for the people of Kampung Sukamanjur Bumi Kedamaian District. This study was carried out in April-May 2014 at the Kampung Sukamanjur Bumi Kedamaian District, Kedamaian Bandar Lampung. Research was conducted using a questionnaire survey as the main tool to obtain data on the use of groundwater through the use of boreholes. Data have been obtained through the survey will be processed and presented in the form of tables and diagrams. The results of this study indicate that the water supply by tapping groundwater through wells to be more efficient in terms of cost and energy when compared with the use of river water. However, if you look in terms of the cost of the more efficient use of water due to the utilization of the public do not need to spend. Keywords: fresh water, groundwater, boreholes.
