Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Orang Lahat salah satu masyarakat yang sangat taat terhadap adat istiadat. Adat adalah sesuatu yang harus terus dipegang teguh. Salah satunya adalah prinsip dan nilai Seganti Setungguan sebagai perwujudan budaya lokal yang mengandung prinsip-prinsip hidup, khususnya tentang bagaimana seorang individu sebagai anggota masyarakat memposisikan dirinya dalam pergaulan, tentang apa yang boleh dan tidak boleh dilakukan. Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi falsafah Seganti Setungguan masyarakat Lahat perantauan di Kota Bandar Lampung. Metode digunakan deskriptif kualitatif, jenis penelitian etnografi model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipan orang Lahat perantauan di Kota Bandar Lampung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan orang Lahat merantau dikarenakan migrasi atas keinginan sendiri, melalui beberapa faktor ekonomi, pendidikan, sosial, dan geografi. Walaupun di perantauan orang Lahat tetap menjalankan dan melestarikan falsafah Seganti Setungguan dengan cara membentuk perkumpulan atau paguyuban orang Lahat. Bentuk implementasi falsafah Seganti Setungguan yang dilakukan berupa kegiatan kegiatan suka cita IMPLEMENTASI FALSAFAH SEGANTI SETUNGGUAN PADA MASYARAKAT LAHAT PERANTAUAN DI KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG iii seperti pernikahan, kemudian kegiatan dukacita, seperti kematian dan musibah, lalu kegiatan pendidikan, dan kegiatan keagamaan. Implementasi falsafah Seganti Setungguan yang dilakukan, secara tidak langsung membentuk sebuah solidaritas social semi organik dan optimalisasi sistem kekerabatan,yang mengikat sesama orang Lahat di perantauan akibat perasaan senasib sepenanggungan, tolong menolong, dan peduli sesama. Kata kunci: Falsafah, Implementasi, Seganti Setungguan, Lahat The Lahat people are one of the people who are very obedient to customs. Adat is something that must be held fast. Even though the Lahat people are far from their hometown, they still maintain and also preserve their cultural customs. One of them is the principles and values of Seganti Setungguan. Seganti Setungguan is the embodiment of a local culture that contains the principles of life, especially on how an individual as a member of society positions himself in his relationships, about what he can and cannot do. This study aims to describe the implementation of the principles and values of the Seganti Setungguan people of the overseas Lahat in Bandar Lampung. The method used is descriptive qualitative ethnographic research using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participant observation in Bandarlampung. The results showed that the Lahat who resided in Bandarlampung were due to migration which was done on their own accord. Several factors cause them to migrate, namely economic, educational, social, and geographic factors. Even though overseas the Lahat people still carry out and preserve the philosophy of the Lahat people by forming associations or associations of Lahat people. The form of implementation of the philosophy is carried out in the form of joyful activities such as weddings, then mourning activities, such as death and calamities, then educational activities, and religious activities. The implementation of the philosophy as a striving indirectly form a semi-organic social solidarity and optimization of the kinship system that binds fellow Lahat people overseas due to the feeling of the same fate, help, and care for others.
