Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Obesitas merupakan suatu keadaan dimana terjadi akumulasi jaringan lemak berlebihan yang dapat terjadi diseluruh tubuh atau terlokalisasi pada bagian-bagian tubuh tertentu. Baik obesitas apple-shaped maupun obesitas pear-shaped sama-sama memiliki resiko penyakit metabolik maupun kardiovaskular. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan rerata kadar glukosa darah yang bermakna penderita obesitas apple-shaped dan obesitas pear-shaped. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik komparatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kantor Kelurahan Kecamatan Tanjung Karang Pusat Kota Bandarlampung dan Laboratorium Rumah Sakit Abdoel Moeloek Bandarlampung pada bulan oktober-november 2014. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai kantor kelurahan yang memenuhi kriteria sampel obesitas apple-shaped dan obesitas pear-shaped. Sampel diambil dengan teknik consecutive sampling dengan total sampel sebanyak 60 sampel. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rerata kadar glukosa darah penderita obesitas apple-shaped adalah 108,86 mg/dl sedangkan pada obesitas pear-shaped adalah 101,03 mg/dl dengan selisih 7,83 mg/dl. Terdapat korelasi yang bermakna antara kadar glukosa darah dan jenis obesitas dengan nilai (p 0,001) dan koefisien korelasi (r = 0,562). Terdapat perbandingan rerata kadar glukosa darah yang bermakna pada obesitas apple shaped dan obesitas pear shaped dengan nilai (p 0,019). Both apple-shaped obesity and pear-shaped obesity have the same risk of metabolic and cardiovascular diseases. This study aims to determine a significant ratio between the average of blood glucose levels of apple-shaped obesity and pear-shaped obesity. This study uses comparative analytical method with cross-sectional approach. This research was conducted at Village Office Sub-District Tanjung Karang Pusat Bandarlampung city and Clinical Pathology Laboratory of Rumah Sakit Abdoel Moeloek Bandarlampung in October-November 2014. The population in this study is the village office employees that qualified to the criteria for apple-shaped obesity and pear-shaped obesity. Samples were taken with consecutive sampling technique with total of the samples are 60 samples. The results showed the average blood glucose levels of apple-shaped obesity was 108.86 mg/dl, while the pear-shaped obesity is 101.03 mg/dl with a difference of 7.83 mg/dl. There is a significant correlation between blood glucose levels and types of obesity with p value of 0.001 and correlation coefficient of 0.562. There is a significant difference of average blood glucose level in apple-shaped obesity and pear-shaped obesity with p value of 0.019.
