ABSTRACT FEASIBILITY STUDY OF AGROINDUSTRY ESTABLISHMENT BASED ON TEMPE FLAVOR USING Saccharomyces cerevisae IN LAMPUNG PROVINCE By AGUS TRI PAMBUDI This study aims to determine the types of potential tempe-based agro-industry and the feasibility of establishing a tempe-based agro-industry in Lampung Province in terms of market and marketing, technical and technological, management, and financial aspects. The research method used is literature study, observation, survey, and also interviews with experts related to the establishment of tempe- based agroindustry. The data for determining the type of agro-industry were analyzed using the AHP method through expert choice software, determining the location of the factory using the MPE method. The results showed that the type of tempe-based agroindustry that has the potential to be developed in Lampung Province is soybean tempe with an AHP value of 0.604. Soybean tempe agroindustry is feasible to be established by taking into account: a large enough market potential along with the increasing popularity of soybean tempe in Lampung Province on Java Island which is the main potential market; the availability of soybean raw materials in Lampung Province, especially Pringsewu Regency which tends to increase, and also meets the business feasibility criteria, namely: POT value after tax of 1.99 and ROI value after tax of 50.27%, the value of R/C Ratio is greater than 1 (1.17) and the period required to return the value of the investment that has been issued is 1 year and 9 months. The location of the selected factory is Pringsewu District with an MPE value of 723. The appropriate form of company for the soybean tempe industry is a Limited Liability Company (PT). Keywords: Agroindustry, Feasibility, Soybean Tempe, Saccharmoyces cerevisiae ABSTRAK STUDI KELAYAKAN PENDIRIAN AGROINDUSTRI BERBASIS TEMPE BERAROMA MENGGUNAKAN Saccharomyces cerevisae DI PROVINSI LAMPUNG Oleh AGUS TRI PAMBUDI Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis agroindustri berbasis tempe yang potensial dan kelayakan pendirian agroindustri berbasis tempe di Provinsi Lampung ditinjau dari aspek pasar dan pemasaran, teknis dan teknologi, manajemen, dan finansial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka, observasi, survey, dan juga wawancara dengan para pakar yang berkaitan dengan pendirian agroindustri berbasis tempe. Data penentuan jenis agroindustri dianalisis dengan metode AHP melalui software expert choice, penentuan lokasi pabrik dengan metode MPE. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jenis agroindustri berbasis tempe yang potensial dikembangkan di Provinsi Lampung adalah tempe kedelai dengan nilai AHP sebesar 0,604. Agroindustri tempe kedelai layak didirikan dengan memperhatikan: potensi pasar yang cukup besar seiring dengan semakin terkenalnya tempe kedelai daerah Provinsi Lampung di Pulau Jawa yang merupakan pasar potensial utama; ketersediaan bahan baku kedelai di Provinsi Lampung terutama Kabupaten Pringsewu yang cenderung meningkat, dan juga memenuhi kriteria kelayakan usaha, yaitu: nilai POT setelah pajak sebesar 1,99 dan nilai ROI setelah pajak sebesar 50,27%, nilai R/C Ratio lebih besar dari 1 (1,17) dan jangka waktu yang diperlukan untuk mengembalikan nilai investasi yang telah dikeluarkan yaitu 1 tahun 9 bulan. Lokasi pabrik terpilih adalah Kecamatan Pringsewu dengan nilai MPE sebesar 723. Bentuk perusahaan yang sesuai untuk industri tempe kedelai adalah Perseroan Terbatas (PT).
