Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara pengambilan data menggunakan angket kuesioner dan triangulasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 15 guru pendidikan jasmani sebagai informan utama, 7 kepala sekolah sebagai informan kunci, dan 7 guru bk sebagai informan pendukung dengan jumlah 29 orang responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara keseluruhan responden yang berjumlah 15 guru pendidikan jasmani dengan persentase 11 guru pendidikan jasmani yang mendapatkan predikat A “sangat baik” dengan tingkat ketercapaian peran guru pendidikan jasmani dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik di SMP dan MTs sebesar 86% – 100%, 4 guru pendidikan jasmani yang mendapatkan predikat B “baik” dengan tingkat ketercapaian peran guru pendidikan jasmani dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik di SMP dan MTs sebesar 70% – 85%, jika nilai pesentase dibuat rata-rata dalam peran guru pendidikan jasmani dalam pembentukan karater peseta didik di SMP dan MTs se-Kecamatan Sidomulyo Kabupaten Lampung Selatan sebesar 88% yang sudah berperan dengan sangat baik dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik di SMP dan MTs se_kecamatan Sidomulyo Kabupaten Lampung Selatan dengan kategori A “Sangat Baik”. Kata Kunci: peran guru, pembentukan karakter, pendidikan jasmani. This research is a descriptive qualitative research by collecting data using questionnaires and triangulation. The sample in this study were 15 physical education teachers as main informants, 7 principals as key informants, and 7 BK teachers as supporting informants with a total of 29 respondents. The results of this study indicate that overall the respondents are 15 physical education teachers with a percentage of 11 physical education teachers who get the "very good" A predicate with the level of achievement of the role of physical education teachers in shaping the character of students in SMP and MTs of 86% - 100%. , 4 physical education teachers who get the predicate B "good" with the level of achievement of the role of physical education teachers in shaping the character of students in SMP and MTs by 70% - 85%, if the percentage value is made on average in the role of physical education teachers in character building 88% of students in SMP and MTs in Sidomulyo District, South Lampung Regency who have played a very good role in shaping the character of students in SMP and MTs in Sidomulyo District, South Lampung Regency with category A "Very Good".
