Abstract
ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh variabel jumlah pengangguran dan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) terhadap jumlah penduduk miskin. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah model analisis regresi linier berganda dengan metode kuadrat terkecil sederhana (Ordinary Least Square). Penelitian ini menggunakan data time series tahunan yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik dan Dinas Ketenagakerjaan. Berdasarkan hasil regresi Ordinary Least Square, dapat diketahui bahwa secara parsial variabel jumlah pengangguran dan variabel Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan pada jumlah penduduk miskin di Kota Metro. Kata Kunci: Jumlah penduduk miskin, jumlah pengangguran, Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of a variable number of unemployed and the Human Development Index (HDI) of the number of poor people. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression analysis model with the method of least squares (Ordinary Least Square). This study uses annual time series data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Department of Labor. Based on the results of ordinary least square regression, it is known that in partial unemployment and a variable number of the Human Development Index (HDI) provides a significant positive effect on the number of poor in Metro City.
