This study aims to determine the factors that influence the perceptions of agricultural extension agents in Law No. 23 of 2014, the influence of perceptions on motivation, the influence of work motivation on performance, analyze the factors that influence work motivation and the performance of agricultural extension workers. The research was carried out in East Lampung Regency in November - December 2022. Determining the research location used a purposive sampling technique. The research respondents were agricultural extension workers, totaling 88 people. The analysis used is Path Analysis. The results of the study show that the perceptions of agricultural extension agents in Law No. 23 of 2014 in the less good category, work motivation and performance in the medium category. Age, education, cosmopolitanity, distance traveled to the target area, the area of the target area and the number of assisted farmer groups have no significant effect on perceptions of the implementation of Law no. 23/2014. Perceptions on the implementation of Law no. 23/2014 has a significant effect on work motivation, work motivation has a significant effect on the performance of extension workers. There is no real influence of age, education, length of work, cosmopolitan, mileage, the area of the target area and the number of assisted farmer groups on work motivation directly or indirectly through perceptions of the implementation of Law no. 23/2014. The age of the instructor has a direct and indirect negative effect through perception and motivation. Length of work has an indirect effect on performance through perception and motivation. The indirect effect of perception and performance motivation mediates the effect of length of work on performance. The size of the target area has a direct effect on performance. Keywords: implementation of Law no. 23/2014, the performance of agricultural extension workers Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap persepsi penyuluh pertanian pada Undang-Undang Nomor No. 23 tahun 2014, pengaruh persepsi terhadap motivasi, pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja serta kinerja penyuluh pertanian. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Lampung Timur pada bulan November - Desember 2022. Penentuan lokasi penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Responden penelitian adalah penyuluh pertanian yang berjumlah 88 orang. Analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis Jalur (Path Analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi penyuluh pertanian pada Undang-Undang Nomor No. 23 tahun 2014 dalam kategori kurang baik, motivasi kerja dan kinerja dalam kategori sedang. Umur, pendidikan, kekosmopolitan, jarak tempuh ke wilayah binaan, luas wilayah binaan dan jumlah kelompok tani binaan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap persepsi pada implementasi UU No. 23/2014. Persepsi pada implementasi UU No. 23/2014 berpengaruh nyata terhadap motivasi kerja, motivasi kerja berpengaruh nyata terhadap kinerja penyuluh. Tidak ada pengaruh nyata dari umur, pendidikan, lama bekerja, kekosmopolitan, jarak tempuh, luas wilayah binaan dan jumlah kelompok tani binaan terhadap motivasi kerja secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui persepsi pada implementasi UU No. 23/2014. Umur penyuluh berpengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung secara negatif melalui persepsi dan motivasi. Lama bekerja berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kinerja melalui persepsi dan motivasi. Pengaruh tidak langsung persepsi dan motivasi kinerja memediasi pengaruh lama bekerja terhadap kinerja. Luas wilayah binaan berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja.
