Kegiatan wisata alam berpotensi untuk ditingkatkan pada suatu kawasan hutan dan potensi alam yang lain, hal tersebut dikarenakan hutan mempunyai ciri khas dari segi lanskap atau dari keanekaragaman hayati yang ada di dalamnya. Agroforestri kopi di kawasan hutan lindung memiliki potensi untuk dioperasikan sebagai tujuan wisata alam. Komoditi kopi merupakan salah satu aset penting yang dipromosikan di Kabupaten Tanggamus, khususnya pada wilayah Kesatuan Pengelolaan Hutan Lindung (KPHL) Batutegi yang mengedepankan program hutan kemasyarakatan untuk mendukung agroforestri kopi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kelayakan potensi wisata alam agroforestri kopi di KPHL Batutegi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan kuesioner serta melakukan dokumentasi pada lokasi penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan modifikasi pedoman Analisis Daerah Operasi Objek Daya Tarik Wisata Alam (ADO-ODTWA) Dirjen PHKA tahun 2003. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa agroforestri kopi di Desa Penantian memiliki nilai total 1.700 dan Desa Sinar Banten dengan nilai total 1.500, nilai tersebut menunjukkan potensi sedang untuk dikembangkan sebagai kawasan wisata alam dengan indeks potensi 66% dan 60% (belum layak). Hal tersebut artinya kawasan agroforestri kopi di KPHL Batutegi memiliki kriteria belum layak untuk dikembangkan, karena unsur aksesibilitas (infrastruktur) khususnya pada tipe jalan yang ditempuh dengan kondisi jalan yang buruk sehingga sulit untuk mengakses kawasan agroforestri kopi. Objek wisata dalam klasifikasi sedang dapat dilakukan pengembangan karena dibutuhkan perencanaan dalam penataan kawasan yang baik ke depannya. Coffee agroforestry in protected forest areas has the potential to be operated as a nature tourism destination. The coffee commodity is one of the important assets promoted in Tanggamus Regency, especially in the Batutegi Protected Forest Management Unit (KPHL) area which puts forward a community forest program to support coffee agroforestry. The purpose of this study was to analyze the feasibility of coffee agroforestry nature tourism potential in KPHL Batutegi. Data collection was carried out by field observation, interviews with questionnaires and documentation at the research location. Data analysis was carried out using a modified guideline of the Directorate General of Nature Tourism Object Operations (ADO-ODTWA) in 2003. The results showed that coffee agroforestry in Penantian Village has a total value of 1,700 and Sinar Banten Village with a total value of 1,500, these values indicate moderate potential to be developed as a natural tourism area with a potential index of 66% and 60% (not yet feasible). This means that the coffee agroforestry area in KPHL Batutegi has criteria that are not yet feasible to develop, because the element of accessibility (infrastructure), especially in the type of road taken with poor road conditions, makes it difficult to access the coffee agroforestry area. Tourism objects in the medium classification can be developed because planning is needed in structuring a good area in the future.
