Lip balm merupakan formulasi yang diterapkan ke bibir untuk mencegah pengeringan dan melindungi terhadap faktor lingkungan yang merugikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pembuatan lip balm dari bahan alami ekstrak kulit buah naga dan minyak alpukat yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi kulit buah naga dan konsentrasi minyak alpukat dan pengaruh interaksi konsentrasi kulit buah naga dan minyak alpukat terhadap karakteristik lip balm. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara faktorial dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan 2 faktor dan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu konsentrasi kulit buah naga (P) terdiri dari 4 taraf (0%, 5%, 10% dan 15%) dan faktor kedua yaitu konsentrasi minyak alpukat (A) terdiri dari 4 taraf (0%, 5%, 10% dan 15%). Data yang diperoleh di analasis ragam, di uji homogenitas (Bartlett) dan kenambahan (Tuckey). Data dianalisis sidik ragam menggunakan analisis uji lanjut OP (Ortghonal Polinomial) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa masing-masing penambahan konsentrasi ekstrak kulit buah naga dan konsentrasi minyak alpukat berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap karakteristik lip balm dan penggunaan konsentrasi terbaiknya yaitu 10%. Terdapat interaksi antara konsentrasi kulit buah naga dan konsentrasi minyak alpukat terhadap lip balm, dimana penambahan konsentrasi berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tekstur, aroma, warna, daya oles, penerimaan keseluruhan, titik lebur dan pH dan dihasilkan perlakuan terbaik yaitu P2A2 dengan konsentrasi ekstrak kulit buah naga 10% dan minyak alpukat 10 % yang memiliki rata-rata skor skoring Tekstur 4,900 (halus), skor kesukaan warna 4,883 (suka), aroma 4,550 (suka), daya oles 4,767 (suka), peneriman keseluruhan 4,900 (suka) serta titik lebur 58.500 dan pH 6,395. Kata kunci : Kulit buah naga, lip balm, minyak alpukat Lip balm is a formulation that is applied to the lips to prevent drying and protect against adverse environmental factors. In this research, lip balm was made from natural ingredients, dragon fruit peel extract and avocado oil, with the aim of determining the effect of dragon fruit peel concentration and avocado oil concentration and the effect of the interaction between dragon fruit peel concentration and avocado oil on the characteristics of lip balm. This research was carried out factorial in a Complete Randomized Block Design (RAKL) with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor is the concentration of dragon fruit peel (P) which consists of 4 levels (0%, 5%, 10% and 15%) and the second factor is the concentration of avocado oil (A) which consists of 4 levels (0%, 5%, 10% and 15%). The data obtained were analyzed by means of analysis of variance, tested for homogeneity (Bartlett) and addition (Tuckey). The data was analyzed for variance using OP (Orthogonal Polynomial) advanced test analysis at the 5% level. The results of the research show that each additional concentration of dragon fruit peel extract and avocado oil concentration has a very significant effect on the characteristics of lip balm and the best concentration used is 10%. There is an interaction between the concentration of dragon fruit peel and the concentration of avocado oil on lip balm, where the addition of concentration has a very significant effect on texture, aroma, color, spreadability, overall acceptability, melting point and pH and the best treatment is P2A2 with a concentration of dragon fruit peel extract. 10% and 10% avocado oil which has an average texture scoring score of 4,900 (smooth), color preference score of 4,883 (like), aroma 4,550 (like), spreadability 4,767 (like), overall acceptability 4,900 (like) and melting point 58,500 and pH 6.395.
