Abstract
ABSTRAK Informasi mengenai geografis semakin dibutuhkan oleh banyak pihak, misalnya informasi jarak antar daerah, lokasi, fasilitas, sumber daya alam yang dicari dan informasi lainnya. Geographic Information System (GIS) atau dikenal dengan Sistem Informasi Goegrafis (SIG) merupakan salah satu solusi untuk mendapatkan informasi geografis tersebut. Wisata Kuliner Lampung merupakan objek yang dijadikan bahan untuk penelitian skripsi ini dikarenakan keanekaragaman makanan khas lampung dan bermacam-macam tempat khas yang dijadikan anak muda, remaja, maupun orang tua untuk tempat hangout. Tempat Wisata Kuliner tersebut dapat dikategorikan sebagai cafe, restaurant, dan pondok santap lainnya. Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) berbasis desktop dibuat dengan menggunakan Microsoft Visual Basic Express 2010 dan MapWinGIS ActiveX Control dengan metode Water Fall serta software pendukung seperti My GPS Coordinates, Quantum GIS dan Microsoft Access Database. Kata kunci : Kuliner, Sistem Informasi Geografis, Desktop ABSTRACT People need more information about geographical related objects, for example: distance between regions, object locations, facilities, natural resources etc. Geographic Information System (GIS) is a solution for getting information on geographical related objects. The object of this research is Lampung culinary, because Lampung Province has many typical foods and many culinary places for young people, teenagers, and parents to gather. That culinary places can be categorized as cafe, restaurant, and many more. This application is developed using Microsoft Visual Basic Express 2010 and MapWinGIS ActiveX Control. The development of this application implement Water Fall method. Other supporting softwares are My GPS Coordinates, Quantum GIS, and Microsoft Access Database.
