Abstract

This research addresses the declining usage of the Lampung script, a vital cultural artifact in Indonesia, by developing a transliteration system and API using the Django framework. The system enables seamless conversion between Indonesian and Lampung scripts, aiming to preserve Lampung's linguistic heritage. Through a structured methodology encompassing problem identification, literature review, and Scrum implementation, the research emphasizes user accessibility and functionality. Key components include syllabification models, image manipulation, website development, API integration, and database management. Black-box testing validates system efficacy, ensuring alignment with specified requirements. By bridging the gap between scripts, the system fosters renewed appreciation for Lampung's linguistic diversity, positioning it as a valuable resource for education and research. This research contributes to preserving Lampung's cultural heritage in the digital age and enriching understanding of its unique identity. Integration into educational curricula and research endeavors promises to further enhance engagement with Lampung's rich cultural legacy.
