Abstract

Masalah penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV SDIT Insan Mulia Kotagajah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe index card match terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran IPAS. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan desain penelitian yaitu non-equivalent control group design. Data yang digunakan adalah data kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 43 orang peserta didik, penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes berupa lembar observasi. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe index card match terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV SDIT Insan Mulia Kotagajah pada pembelajaran IPAS. Kata kunci: IPAS, kemampuan berpikir kritis, metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe index card match The problem of this research was the low critical thinking ability of four grade students at SDIT Insan Mulia Kotagajah. This research aims to determine the effect of the index card match type cooperative learning method on critical thinking skills in science learning. This research method uses a quasiexperimental method with a research design, namely non-equivalent control group design. The data used is quantitative data. The research sample consisted of 43 students. The research sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques use test and non-test techniques in the form of observation sheets. Hypothesis testing uses simple linear regression with the results of the research show that there is an influence of the index card match type cooperative learning method on the critical thinking abilities of four grade students at SDIT Insan Mulia Kotagajah in science learning.
