Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

This study aimed to explore the comparison between extroverted students and introverted students in reading comprehension. It was conducted at SMAS Al Kautsar Bandar Lampung, with 61 twelfth-grade students as subjects. Data were collected through Big Five Inventory (BFI) and reading comprehension test. The research applied an ex post facto design study, and the results were analysed using Mann Whitney U Test. The findings revealed that there was no significant difference between extroverted students and introverted students in English reading comprehension. The p value of 0.556, which is greater than the significance level of 0.05, indicating that the students’ personality traits do not directly affect their reading comprehension. However, introverted students scored slightly better than extroverted students. This may be attributed to their preferences for individual learning strategy since the present study solely focuses on individual work Keywords: reading comprehension, extroverted students, introverted students, comparison
