Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) peranan kelompok tani dalam peningkatan pendapatan petani kopi, (2) tingkat pendapatan petani kopi, dan (3) perubahan tingkat pendapatan petani kopi sebelum dan setelah menjadi anggota kelompok tani. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kelurahan Tugusari, Kecamatan Sumberjaya, Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Pemilihan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 89 orang petani kopi yang termasuk dalam anggota kelompok tani. Pengambilan data penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan September 2013 sampai dengan bulan Maret 2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan uji beda t berpasangan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) peranan kelompok tani dalam peningkatan pendapatan petani termasuk dalam klasifikasi tinggi; (2) rata-rata tingkat pendapatan petani kopi per tahun per hektar sebelum menjadi anggota kelompok tani Rp10.797.325, dan setelah menjadi anggota kelompok tani Rp20.068.064; serta(3) rata-rata peningkatan pendapatan petani kopi per tahun per hektar setelah menjadi anggota kelompok tani adalah Rp9.270.738. Kata kunci: kelompok tani, kopi, pendapatan, peranan ABSTRACT This research aimed to determine: (1) the role of farmers group on improvement of coffee farmers’ income, (2) the level of coffee farmers' income, and (3) the changes of coffee farmers' income before and after being members of farmers group. The research was conducted on purposein Tugusari Village of Sumberjaya Subdistrict, West Lampung Regency by survey method. The samples of this research were 89 coffee farmers who are members of farmers group. The research data collection was conducted from September 2013 until March 2014. The research data was analyzed descriptively and by paired sample t test difference. The results showed that: (1) the role of farmers group on improving farmers’ income was classified as high; (2) the average level of coffee farmers’ income per year per hectare before and after being members of farmers group were Rp10,797,325 and Rp20,068,064; and (3) the average improvement of coffee income per year per hectare was Rp9,270,738.
