Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana proses penggunaan notasi balok pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler paduan suara di SMA Negeri 01 Blambangan Umpu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriftip. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teori behavioristik, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan penggunaan notasi balok pada ekstrakurikuler paduan suara berlangsung selama 2 bulan yaitu sebanyak 8 kali pertemuan. Diketahui bahwa guru yang mengajar bukan berlatar belakang pendidikan seni khususnya seni musik. Dari beberapa pernyataan yang telah dipaparkan diketahui bahwa penggunaan notasi balok pada ekstrakurikuler paduan suara belum dapat berlangsung dengan baik. Hal ini dilihat dari saat membaca partitur secara bersama-sama anggota ekstrakurikuler paduan suara masih dibantu oleh pelatih ekstrakurikuler paduan suara. Kata Kunci : Penggunaan, Notasi Balok, Paduan Suara Method of qualitative with a descriptive approach-describe and declared in this written theory. The theory used in research is behaviorist theory, with data collection techniques or could known as observations, interviews, and documentations. This data analysis includes some reductions for the data presentation and also conclusions. The results of this research shows that the use of block notation in choir extracurricular activities lasted for 2 months, in 8 meetings. It is known that the profesional service from teachers who teach does not came from any background in arts education, especially music. From those several statements that have been presented, it is known that the use of notation blocks in choir extracurricular has not been quite successful. This statement has declared by the sheet music as extracurricular choir members who still assisted and study by the extracurricular from choir coach. Keywords: Use, Block Notation, and Chorus
