Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah komunikasi interpersonal siswa di sekolah cukup rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi pola asuh orang tua dengan komunikasi interpersonal pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 395 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 80 siswa yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi Product Moment. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala persepsi pola asuh orang tua dan skala komunikasi interpersonal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang berarah postif antara persepsi pola asuh orang tua dengan komunikasi interpersonal siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan indeks korelasi rhitung = 0,239 > rtabel = 0,220 pada taraf sig P=0,033 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa jika persepsi pola asuh orang tua optimal maka komunikasi interpersonal siswa pun tinggi, begitupun sebaliknya jika pola asuh orang tua tidak optimal maka komunikasi interpersonal siswa rendah. Kata Kunci: bimbingan konselinng, persepsi pola asuh orang tua, komunikasi interpersonal The problem in this research is students' interpersonal communication at school. This research aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of parental parenting patterns and interpersonal communication in class XI students at SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. The research method used is a quantitative method. The population of this study was 395 students with a sample of 80 students taken using purposive sampling techniques. The data analysis technique uses Product Moment correlation. Data were collected using the parent's perception of parenting style scale and the interpersonal communication scale. The results of the research show that there is a positive relationship between perceptions of parents' parenting styles and students' interpersonal communication as indicated by the correlation index rcount = 0.239 > rtable = 0.220 at the sig level P = 0.033, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of the research can be concluded that if the perception of parenting patterns is optimal then students' interpersonal communication is high, and vice versa if parents' parenting patterns are not optimal then students' interpersonal communication is low.
