Along with the increasing activities of catfish farming in Indonesia, the use of antibiotics has become one of the drugs used to treat diseases. One of the antibiotics commonly used in Indonesia is enrofloxacin. The use of antibiotics can cause residue accumulation in the fish's body. This study was conducted to examine the effectiveness of enrofloxacin and the withdrawal time of enrofloxacin in catfish. The study was conducted in March - August 2023 which was carried out experimentally in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia Number 37 / PERMEN-KP / 2019. The results of the study showed that the use of enrofloxacin significantly affected the survival rate of catfish infected with A. hydrophila bacteria, and took 10 days to reach a value of 0.5 Maximum Residue Limit (MRL) in catfish. The result shows that the use of enrofloxacin in catfish that’s infected with A. hydrophila with dose of 10 mg/kg can help with preventing mass death but it doesn’t show significant difference. Therefore, future research need to be done to increase the effectiveness of the medicine. Keywords: A. hydrophila, Effectiveness, Enrofloxacin, Withdrawal Time.
