Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Acidifier cuka apel terhadap konsumsi ransum total, bobot akhir, dan Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC) dan mengetahui level pemberian terbaik kadar penambahan Acidifier cuka apel terhadap konsumsi ransum total, bobot akhir, dan Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC), pada ayam ULU. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada November 2023 –Januari 2024 di Kandang Open House, Jurusan Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan yaitu: P0 tanpa penambahan acidifier (kontrol), P1 penambahan acidifier cuka apel 0,25% , P2 penambahan acidifier cuka apel 0,5%, P3 penambahan acidifier cuka apel 0,75% dan 5 ulangan. Setiap ulangan terdiri dari 10 ekor ayam ULU sehingga penelitian ini menggunakan 200 ekor ayam ULU. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Analysis of variance (ANOVA). Apabila hasil Analysis of variance (ANOVA) berpengaruh nyata maka analisis dilanjutkan menggunakan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian acidifier cuka apel tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05), sehingga belum diketahui level pemberian yang terbaik yang dapat mempengaruhi konsumsi ransum total, bobot akhir, dan Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC) pada ayam ULU. Kata Kunci: acidifier cuka apel, konsumsi ransum total, bobot akhir, dan Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC), ayam ULU. This study aims to determine the effect of giving apple cider vinegar Acidifier on total ration consumption, final weight, and Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC) and to determine the best level of adding apple cider vinegar Acidifier to total ration consumption, final weight, and Income Over Feed Cost ( IOFC), in ULU chickens. This research was carried out in November 2023 – January 2024 at the Open House Kandang, Department of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments, namely: P0 without the addition of acidifier (control), P1 with the addition of 0.25% apple vinegar acidifier, P2 with the addition of 0.5% apple vinegar acidifier, P3 with the addition of 0.75% apple vinegar acidifier and 5 repetitions. Each replication consisted of 10 ULU chickens so this study used 200 ULU chickens. The data obtained were analyzed using Analysis of variance (ANOVA). If the results of the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) have a significant effect then the analysis continues using the Least Significant Difference Test (BNT). The results of the research showed that giving apple cider vinegar acidifier had no significant effect (P>0.05), so it is not yet known what the best level of administration can influence total ration consumption, final weight, and Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC) in ULU chickens.
