Abstract

Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung sebagai Pengelola Informasi Publik memiliki tugas dan wewenang untuk mengelola informasi publik. Pengelolaan informasi publik melalui media sosial merupakan salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pemerintah daerah di era digital saat ini. Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung, sebagai salah satu pemerintah daerah di Indonesia, telah mengembangkan strategi untuk mengelola informasi publik secara efektif di platform media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung dalam mengelola informasi publik di media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa strategi Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung dalam mengelola informasi publik harus memastikan bahwa informasi yang disampaikan tetap aman dan tidak disalahgunakan. Tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengelola informasi publik antara lain ancaman kebocoran informasi, manipulasi data, penyalahgunaan informasi dan berita yang menimbulkan kontroversi. Namun dengan adanya pendekatan komperhensif, Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung diharapkan menjadi garda terdepan dalam menjaga keamanan informasi, sehingga terhindar dari potensi kontroversi dan dapat memberikan layanan informasi yang terpercaya kepada masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung, keamanan informasi, strategi pemerintah The Lampung Provincial Government as Public Information Manager has the duty and authority to manage public information. Managing public information through social media is one of the challenges faced by local governments in the current digital era. The Lampung Provincial Government, as one of the regional governments in Indonesia, has developed a strategy to effectively manage public information on social media platforms. This research aims to analyze the Lampung Provincial Government's strategy in managing public information on social media. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and literature study. The results of this research show that the Lampung Provincial Government's strategy in managing public information must ensure that the information conveyed remains safe and is not misused. Challenges faced in managing public information include the threat of information leakage, data manipulation, misuse of information and news that causes controversy. However, with a comprehensive approach, the Lampung Provincial Government is expected to be at the forefront of maintaining information security, so as to avoid potential controversy and be able to provide reliable information services to the public.
