Abstract

Permukiman di sempadan rel kereta api kerap kali menjadi tempat tinggal bagi masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah yang tidak mampu mengakses lahan permukiman formal. Kondisi ini turut mempengaruhi tingkat kesejahteraan rumah tangga yang tinggal di kawasan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis tingkat kesejahteraan rumah tangga di sempadan rel kereta api Kecamatan Kotabumi Kabupaten Lampung Utara berdasarkan indikator tingkat kesejahteraan seperti karakteristik kepala rumah tangga, akses pendidikan, keamanan, teknologi; informasi dan komunikasi, transportasi, kemudahan pelayanan kesehatan, fasilitas tempat tinggal, perumahan, dan pendapatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan spasial. Populasi berjumlah 486 kepala rumah tangga dengan sampel yang diambil berjumlah 83 kepala rumah tangga. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, survei dan data sekunder. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, skoring dan spasial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 4 rumah tangga (4,81%) berada pada tingkat kesejahteraan tinggi, 77 rumah tangga (92,79%) berada pada tingkat kesejahteraan sedang dan 2 rumah tangga (2,40%) berada pada tingkat kesejahteraan rendah. Tingkat kesejahteraan rumah tangga di sempadan rel kereta api Kecamatan Kotabumi secara umum berada pada tingkat kesejahteraan sedang. Secara spasial diketahui rumah tangga dengan tingkat kesejahteraan tinggi di sempadan rel kereta api Kecamatan Kotabumi Kabupaten Lampung Utara berada di lokasi yang dekat dengan pusat pemerintahan dan pusat kegiatan ekonomi, sehingga memberikan akses yang lebih baik terhadap berbagai fasilitas publik. This study was conducted to analyze the level of household welfare along railway tracks in Kotabumi Subdistrict, North Lampung Regency, based on welfare indicators such as household head characteristics, access to education, security, technology, information and communication, transportation, ease of access to health services, housing facilities, housing, and income. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method with a spatial approach. The population consists of 486 household heads, with a sample size of 83 household heads. Data was collected through observation, documentation, surveys, and secondary data. Data analysis techniques include descriptive analysis, scoring, and spatial analysis. The results of the study show that 4 households (4.81%) are at a high level of welfare, 77 households (92.79%) are at a moderate level of welfare, and 2 households (2.40%) are at a low level of welfare. The welfare level of households along the railway tracks in Kotabumi Subdistrict is generally at a moderate level. Spatially, it is known that households with a high welfare level along the railway tracks in Kotabumi Subdistrict, North Lampung Regency, are located near the government center and economic activity center, thereby providing better access to various public facilities.
