Abstract

Masalah yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kecerdasan visual- spasial peserta didik kelas V di SD Negeri 08 Metro Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model learning cycle 5E terhadap kecerdasan visual- spasial peserta didik kelas V dalam mata pelajaran IPAS, metode penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment group design dengan bentuk yang digunakan non equivalent control group design. Populasi dan sampel berjumlah 50 dengan teknik total sampling serta teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, angket dan dokumentasi. Uji hipotesis menggunakan rumus uji regresi linier sederhana dengan hasil 0,41<0,05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga hasil pada penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model Learning Cycle 5E terhadap kecerdasan visual-spasial peserta didik kelas V SD dalam mata pelajaran IPAS. kata kunci : kecerdasan visual-spasial, model learning cycle 5e The problem in this study was the low visual-spatial intelligence of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 08 Metro Timur. This study aimed to determine the effect of the 5E Learning Cycle model on the visual-spatial intelligence of fifth-grade students in the IPAS subject. The research method used was a quasi-experimental group design, specifically a non-equivalent control group design. The population consisted of 50 students, with the sampling technique being total sampling. Data collection techniques included tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The hypothesis was tested using a simple linear regression formula, which resulted in 0.41 < 0.05, thus Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Therefore, the result of this study was that there was a significant effect of the 5E Learning Cycle model on the visual-spatial intelligence of fifth-grade students in the IPAS subject at SD Negeri 08 Metro Timur. keywords: 5e learning cycle model, visual-spatial intelligence
