Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Lets Read terhadap kemampuan literasi membaca peserta didik kelas II SD Negeri 3 Jatimulyo. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian adalah quasi experimental dengan desain penelitian non equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas II SD Negeri 3 Jatimulyo dengan sampel kelas II A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas II C sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan total sampel 53 peserta didik. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Lets Read terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi membaca. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan aplikasi Lets Read dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi membaca peserta didik sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: aplikasi Lets Read, literasi membaca, media pembelajaran digital, sekolah dasar The problem in this study aimed determine the effect of the use of the Lets Read application on the reading literacy ability of grade II students of SD Negeri 3 Jatimulyo. This research method used a quantitative method with a quasi- experimental research with a non-equivalent control group design. The research population was class II students of SD Negeri 3 Jatimulyo with a sample of class II A as the experimental class and class II C as the control class. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total sample of 53 students. The results of data analysis showed that there was an influence of the use of the Lets Read application on improving reading literacy skills. The implication of this study was that the use of the Lets Read application can be an effective alternative in improving the reading literacy skills of elementary school students.
