Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas V SDIT Al-Muhsin Metro Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pada penerapan media pembelajaran poster terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas V SDIT Al-Muhsin Metro Selatan tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Metode penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental experimental tipe non-equivalent control group design dengan populasi berjumlah 48 orang peserta didik dan sampel sebanyak 48 orang peserta didik. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik non probability sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes berupa esai dan non tes berupa observasi. .Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh pada penggunaan media poster terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas V SDIT Al-Muhsin Metro Selatan tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Kata Kunci : berpikir kritis, IPAS, Poster The problem addressed in this study is the low critical thinking ability of fifth-grade students in the IPAS subject at SDIT Al-Muhsin Metro Selatan. This research aims to determine the effect of using poster-based learning media on students' critical thinking skills in the IPAS subject for the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The population consisted of 48 students’ and all were used as research samples, selected through non-probability sampling. The instruments used in this study included essay tests and non-test instruments such as observation sheets. The results indicate that the use of poster media has a significant influence on the critical thinking abilities of fifth-grade students in the IPAS subject at SDIT Al-Muhsin Metro Selatan for the 2024/2025 academic year.
