Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Read-Answer-DiscussExplain-Create (RADEC) berorientasi ESD terhadap critical thinking skills dan sustainability awareness, serta mengetahui tanggapan peserta didik terhadap penerapannya dalam pembelajaran materi ekosistem. Penelitian menggunakan desain pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group dengan sampel peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Gadingrejo, Kabupaten Pringsewu. Kelas X.8 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X.3 sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data peningkatan critical thinking skills dianalisis menggunakan uji Independent Sample t-Test terhadap skor N-gain. Hasil uji menunjukkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,00 < 0,05, yang berarti model RADEC berorientasi ESD berpengaruh signifikan terhadap critical thinking skills. Rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,51, lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,31. Nilai effect size sebesar 1,025 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil angket sustainability awareness menunjukkan peningkatan dari rata-rata 51,43 menjadi 73,17 setelah perlakuan. Sementara itu, tanggapan peserta didik terhadap penerapan model RADEC berorientasi ESD berada pada kategori tinggi, dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 76,74. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model RADEC berorientasi ESD berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap critical thinking skills dan berpengaruh terhadap sustainability awareness. Penggunaan model RADEC berorientasi ESD dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan critical thinking skills dan sustainability awareness. This study aims to determine the effect of the ESD-oriented Read-Answer-DiscussExplain-Create (RADEC) model on critical thinking skills and sustainability awareness, and to determine students' responses to its application in learning ecosystem material. The study used a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design with a sample of X grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Gadingrejo, Pringsewu Regency. Class X.8 as the experimental class and X.3 as the control class were selected through purposive sampling technique. Data on the improvement of critical thinking skills were analyzed using the Independent Sample t-Test test on the N-gain score. The test results show the sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.00 <0.05, which means the ESD-oriented RADEC model has a significant effect on critical thinking skills. The average N-gain of the experimental class was 0.51, higher than the control class of 0.31. The effect size value of 1.025 is included in the high category. The results of the sustainability awareness questionnaire showed an increase from an average of 51.43 to 73.17 after treatment. Meanwhile, students' responses to the application of the ESD-oriented RADEC model were in the high category, with an average percentage of 76.74. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the ESD-oriented RADEC model significantly affects critical thinking skills and affects sustainability awareness. The use of ESD-oriented RADEC model can be an effective strategy in improving critical thinking skills and sustainability awareness.
