Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuaan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran cooperative script dengan model konvensional pada pembelajaran geografi di kelas XI IPS SMAS Islam Kebumen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative script dan siswa kelas XI IPS 1 sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Sampel pada tiap kelompok berjumlah 28 siswa. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes essay. Analisis data menggunakan uji independent sample t-test diperoleh nilai sig (2-tailed) 0,00 yang artinya kurang dari 0.05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara rata-rata nilai posttest kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran, cooperative script, hasil belajar, geografi. This study aims to determine the differences in student learning outcomes that apply the cooperative script learning model with the conventional model in geography learning in class XI IPS SMAS Islam Kebumen. The research method used is quasi- experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. The sample in the study was students of class XI IPS 2 as the experimental group using the cooperative script learning model and students of class XI IPS 1 as the control group using conventional learning. The sample in each group amounted to 28 students. Data collection was carried out using an essay test. Data analysis using the independent sample t-test obtained a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.00 which means less than 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the average posttest scores of the experimental group and the control group.
