Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media interaktif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang terdistribusi dalam tujuh kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VII-D sebanyak 29 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII- C sebanyak 29 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive random sampling. Desain yang digunakan adalah Pretest-posttest control group design. Data pada penelitian berupa data kuantitatif yang diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t diperoleh bahwa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan media interaktif lebih tinggi dibandingkan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan media interaktif. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media interaktif dalam pembelajaran berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Kata kunci: media interaktif, komunikasi matematis siswa. This study aims to determine the effect of interactive media on students' mathematical communication skills. The population of this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 school year distributed in seven classes. The samples in this study were the entire VII-D class of 29 students as the experimental class and VII-C of 29 students as the control class selected through purposive random sampling technique. The design used was Pretest-posttest control group design. The data in the study in the form of quantitative data obtained through mathematical communication ability tests. Based on the results of the t-test, it was found that the increase in mathematical communication skills of students who took part in learning using interactive media was higher than the increase in mathematical communication skills of students who took part in learning without using interactive media. Thus, it can be concluded that interactive media in learning has an effect on students' mathematical communication skills. Keywords: interactive media, student mathematical communication
