Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji penggunaan tindak direktif dalam novel Mereka Bilang Aku Kemlinthi karya Hanifa Vidya serta mengidentifikasi implikasinya dalam pembelajaran teks cerpen di SMA. Fokus penelitian ini meliputi tindak direktif yang mengandung lima fungsi komunikatif memerintah, meminta, memohon, menasihati dan merekomendasi dalam novel serta relevansi penggunaannya dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data berupa dialog dalam novel dikumpulkan melalui teknik baca dan catat, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model analisis heuristik yang mencakup problema, dilengkapi dengan proposisi, informasi latar belakang konteks, dan asumsi dasar bahwa penutur menaati prinsip-prinsip pragmatis, kemudian mitra tutur merumuskan hipotesis tujuan tuturan, dan pengujian hipotesis. Data diklasifikasikan ke dalam lima fungsi komunikatif tindak direktif, yaitu memerintah, meminta, memohon, menasihati, dan merekomendasi, serta ditelaah dari aspek kelangsungan dan keliteralan tuturan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam novel Mereka Bilang Aku Kemlinthi terdapat tindak direktif dengan lima fungsi komunikatif, yaitu memerintah, meminta, memohon, menasihati, dan merekomendasi, yang diungkapkan melalui tuturan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, serta secara literal maupun tidak literal. Tindak direktif memerintah cenderung digunakan dalam novel tersebut dan sebagian besar tuturan berbentuk langsung literal yang mencerminkan gaya komunikasi secara eksplisit dalam novel. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diimplikasikan sebagai bahan ajar tambahan dalam pembelajaran teks cerpen untuk memenuhi capaian pembelajaran pada elemen menulis di kelas XII SMA yang berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka. Kata kunci: Novel, Pembelajaran , Tindak Direktif This study aims to examine the use of directives in the novel " Mereka Bilang Aku Kemlinthi " by Hanifa Vidya and identify its implications for short story teaching in high school. The focus of this study covers directives, which contain five communicative functions: commanding, requesting, pleading, advising, and recommending, in the novel, and the relevance of their use in Indonesian language learning. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Data in the form of dialogues in the novel were collected through reading and note-taking techniques, then analyzed using a heuristic analysis model that includes the problem, supplemented with propositions, background information, and the basic assumption that the speaker adheres to pragmatic principles. Then, the interlocutors formulate hypotheses about the purpose of the utterance, and test the hypotheses. The data were classified into five communicative functions of directives: commanding, requesting, pleading, advising, and recommending, and examined from the perspective of continuity and literalness. The results of the study indicate that in the novel "Mereka Bilang Aku Kemlinthi," there are directive acts with five communicative functions: ordering, requesting, pleading, advising, and recommending. These are expressed through direct and indirect speech, both literal and non-literal. Commanding directive acts tend to be used in the novel, and most of the utterances are direct and literal, reflecting the novel's explicit communication style. The results of this study can be used as additional teaching materials in short story learning to meet the learning outcomes for writing elements in grade XII high school students based on the Independent Curriculum.
