Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan kausalitas antara jumlah persediaan beras dan harga beras di Provinsi Lampung, hubungan kausalitas antara jumlah persediaan beras dan inflasi di Provinsi Lampung, dan hubungan kausalitas antara harga beras dan inflasi di Provinsi Lampung. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan metode Vector Autoregression (VAR) dan Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dalam bentuk time series. Data yang digunakan adalah data statistik bulanan kurun waktu Januari 2014 sampai Desember 2023. Hasil empiris menunjukkan terdapat hubungan kausalitas searah antara harga beras dengan persediaan beras, terdapat hubungan kausalitas searah antara inflasi dengan persediaan beras, terdapat hubungan kausalitas searah antara harga beras dengan inflasi. Kata kunci: harga beras, pembentukan inflasi, persediaan beras This study aims to analyze the causal relationships between rice supply and rice prices in Lampung Province, the causal relationship between rice supply and inflation in Lampung Province, and the causal relationship between rice prices and inflation in Lampung Province. The analysis employed is descriptive with a quantitative approach using the Vector Autoregression (VAR) method and the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). This research uses secondary data in the form of time series data. The data used are monthly statistical data from January 2014 to December 2023. Empirical results indicate a unidirectional causal relationship between rice prices and rice supply; a unidirectional causal relationship between inflation and rice supply; a unidirectional causal relationship between rice prices and inflation.
